On June 20th, I had the honor of supporting our client, The Memorial Foundation, at their innovative Films at the Stone series at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C. This groundbreaking program—the first and only outdoor film series on The National Mall—brings Dr. King’s values of justice, hope, and courage to live through family-friendly cinema.
Led by CEO Harry E. Johnson, Sr., whom I’m privileged to call a trusted partner, The Memorial Foundation has created a unique way to bring Dr. King’s legacy to new generations. The evening’s screening of Despicable Me 4 drew families from across the D.C. area to gather on the memorial lawn, transforming this sacred space into a vibrant community gathering.
I was especially pleased that my daughter, Camille, and my son, Cam, could join me for this meaningful evening. Standing together before the Stone of Hope, we witnessed how the Foundation’s year-round programs ensure that Dr. King’s dream continues to inspire action and unity across generations.
The Films at the Stone series showcases The Memorial Foundation’s dedication to engaging, inclusive programming. By selecting films with characters that embody courage and conviction, they create natural opportunities for families to discuss the values that Dr. King championed throughout his life.
Vincent Strategies is honored to support The Memorial Foundation’s important work. If you’re in the D.C. area, don’t miss the remaining screenings: Moana 2 on July 18th and Wicked on August 15th. All films begin at 8:00 PM at 1964 Independence Avenue SW.
